THE EVILS OF WOMEN ATTENDING MUSJIDS

A  Brother from Durban writes:

“I live in a small suburb of Durban wherein there is only one Masjid. Apart from the many “different” things done by the trustees, one of the most concerning, is the facilities made available for women to perform their 5 daily salaah at the Masjid. I understand the prohibition, but my concern is if their salaah is even accepted, taking into consideration the following:

The ladies salaah area is a level above the main Masjid. From above they have no view of the men performing salaah and vice versa. The only way possible for them to follow the imam is by listening through the speakers. Is their salaah accepted taking into consideration the only way of them following the imam, is through the mic system? This proved to be a problem during Taraweeh, as many went into ruku when the imam made takbeer for sajdah tilawah, and only realised their mistake when the imam made takbeer again and began reciting qiraat.

Unfortunately, women are present for almost every salaah. In the basement parking, the men and women’s entrance to the Musjid area is in full view of each other, making it almost impossible to go up to the Masjid without seeing a women who happens to go up at the same time. 

Another major problem in Durban is the use of the mic system. Almost every single Masjid, be it the smallest, along with tiny musallas, make use of the mic system. Masaajid with the Imam’s qiraat being audible even outside, make use of the mic even when there is only a few saffs. A few days ago, in the our local Masjid, the mic system failed during Salaah and I could hear the Imam’s qiraat crystal clear from the 8th saff! The mic has unfortunately become a new “necessity”. Please advise on the above issues, respect Mufti Saheb.”

ANSWER

The consequences of haraam are always morally and spiritually destructive. The Shariah prohibits women from the Musaajid, but these juhala, fussaaq ‘trustees’ and the ulama-e-soo’ deem it appropriate to use the Musjid for the perpetration of haraam.

The Salaat of the women explained above, is not valid.  The whole scenario is a lamentable and an ugly mockery of Salaat, and a flagrant violation of the Shariah. Leave alone the fussaaq trustees, even the imaams and the molvis are oblivious of the evils of women attending the Musjid. Their Imaan is thoroughly desensitized, hence their spiritual hearts are dead and their spiritual eyes are blind.

Even the environs of the Musaajid have become platforms for sin. Only women who have the attitudes and tendencies of lesbians and prostitutes feel comfortable to be in and near to male gatherings. That is why they disdain and abhor the advice of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) for women to perform Salaat in the remotest corners of their homes. For them the best ‘musjids’ are their homes. But today, the ulama themselves have opened up many doorways of fitnah – fisq, fujoor and bid’ah.

Muslim women – the vast majority – no longer have Imaani hayaa. They now excel in lewdness. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

   “A woman who applies perfumes and passes by a gathering is like this and like that (i.e. a prostitute).”

MUSJID FACILITIES FOR WOMEN

Q. Some Ulama in UK have issued the fatwa that it is permissible to establish separate facilities for females at the Musjids for Salaat. They cite Imaam Abu Hanifah (Rahmatullah alayh) and Mufti Taqi Usmani in support. What is Shariah’s ruling?
A. As far as Mufti Taqi is concerned he is person’a non grata. He is a liberal who has lost his Islamic bearings many years ago. He has opened the avenue for the fitnah of immorality and riba with his corrupt fatwas halaalizing pictography and so-called ‘islamic’ banking. Meanwhile, all his halaalizing practices, especially banking fatwas are designed for the dollars. The capitalist bankers pay tens of thousands of dollars for fatwas of permissibility for their riba products.
As far as their citing Imaam Abu Hanifah (Rahmatullah alayh) is concerned, they merely flaunt their jahaalat. They are morons wallowing in ghabaawat. Haafiz Ibn Hajr (Rahmatullah alayh) said that it is only a GHABI (a chap whose brains are densely clogged with nafsaaniyat and worldly objectives) who will have the temerity to claim that it is permissible for women to gatecrash into the Musaajid.
All the arguments of ‘hikmat’ proffered by the legalizers of this Prohibition are spurious excrescences of the nafs. We have elaborately discussed and refuted all their ghutha (rubbish) arguments in seven booklets which are available on our website. It is not permissible to have facilities for females in the Musaajid. The Sahaabah had enacted Ijma’ on this Prohibition, hence no one’s view can ever override this sacred Consensus.
