Hadhrat Anas (Radhiyallahu anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “During Aakhiruz Zamaan (the era in close proximity to Qiyaamah) there will be juhhaal ubbaad and fussaaq qurraa’.” The ‘worshippers’ will be juhhaal – absolute morons. They will interpret bid’ah as Sunnah and rejection of bid’ah as rejection of Sunnah. The qaaris will be fussaaq – vile, flagrant sinners. Both categories of villains are in abundance in this era. The so-called khaanqah sheikhs are among these juhhaal. They are scandalously ignorant of the meaning of Tasawwuf. Their brand of sufi’ism is in fact satanism. They are in the fake ‘sufi’ business for monetary and other worldly motives. The qaaris are among the worst fussaaq. A mockery of the Qur’aan is made in qiraa’t competitions and displays by these clean-shaven qaaris as well as by other reciters who extravagate money for their Qur’aan recitation. In other narrations they are described as munaafiqeen and absolutely rotten – rotten to the core.

About the Last 10 Verses of Surah Aal-e-Imran

This article highlights the significance of the last verses of Surah Aal-e-Imran. In a hadith that Ibn Marduwyah recorded, Ataa said, “I, Ibn Umar and Ubayd bin Umayr went to Aishah and entered her room, and there was a screen between us and her. She said, ‘O Ubayd! What prevents you from visiting us’ He said, `What the poet said, `Visit every once in a while, and you will be loved more.’ Ibn Umar said, `Tell us about the most unusual thing you witnessed from the Messenger of Allah.’
She cried and said, `All his matters were amazing. One night, he came close to me until his skin touched my skin and said, `Let me worship my Lord.’ I said, `By Allah I love your being close to me. I also love that you worship your Lord.’ He used the water and performed ablution, but did not use too much water. He then stood up in prayer and cried until his beard became wet. He prostrated and cried until he made the ground wet. He then laid down on his side and cried. When Bilal came to alert the Prophet for the Dawn prayer, he said, `O Messenger of Allah! What makes you cry, while Allah has forgiven you your previous and latter sins’. He (s.a.w.s) said,
(O Bilal! What prevents me from crying, when this night, this Ayah was revealed to me,)
“Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding.” (Surah Aal-e-Imran:190)
He then said:
“Woe to he who recites it but does not contemplate it’s (meaning).”
About the term “Uli Al-baab” (men of understanding) in the verse, it refers to the intelligent and sound minds that contemplate about the true reality of things, unlike the deaf and mute who do not have sound comprehension. Allah said about the latter type in the Quran,
“And how many a sign in the heavens and the earth they pass by, while they are averse there from.” Surah Yousuf (105).
Allah then describes those who have good minds in the verse that follows in Surah Aal-e-Imran: (Surah Aal-e-Imran Arabic English Translation)
“Those who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Lord! You have not created this without purpose, glory to You! Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire.”
In a related authentic report that was narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the prophet (s.a.w.s.) stayed one night with Maymoonah, the Mother of the Believers, who was his maternal aunt. He said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) slept until halfway through the night, or just before or after that. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then woke up and started wiping the sleep from his face with his hand. Then he recited the last ten verses of Surah Aal Imran, then he got up and went to a water skin that was hanging there, and did wudu (ablution) from it and did it well, then he stood and prayed.
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “This indicates that it is mustahabb (desirable) to recite these (ten) verses when getting up from sleep.”

  • Al-Nawawi’s interpretation on the hadith mentioned above was that it is mustahabb (desirable) to recite the last (ten) verses of Surah Aal-e-Imran when getting up from sleep.
  • There is no saheeh hadeeth (authentic report) from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) which would indicate that the one who recites the last ten verses of Surah Al ‘Imran will have recorded for him the reward of spending the night in worship (as is mistakenly thought by some.) (
  • When verse number 190 of the Surah was revealed on the prophet (s.a.w.s), it had a considerable effect on him and we should strive to ponder on that verse and on the rest of the Quran verses as well.

“The Rasool will say: ‘O my Rabb! Verily, my people made this Qur’aan an object for buffeting.” “Thus have We appointed for every Nabi enemies from the criminals. Your Rabb suffices as a Guide and a Helper.” (Al-Furqaan, 30 & 31)
The programme of this deviant, miscreant so-called ‘jamiatul huffaz azaadville’ conspicuously displays the shaitaaaniyat which is being organized in the name of Allah’s Kalaam. The Qur’aan Majeed is being made a mahjoor – a football – a toy – an object of entertainment.

A fun and merrymaking, stupid ‘open air’ function is being organized to entertain the juhala audience and spectators. Munaafiqeen qaaris will be flaunting their singing skills soiling and polluting the Word of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Regarding these shaitaani qurraa’, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“The majority of the munaafiqeen of my Ummah are its qaaris.”

Allah Ta’ala has revealed the Qur’aan Majeed as a Guide for the Najaat of Muslims, not for entertainment, not for merrymaking, show, ostentation and shaitaaniyat. The entire affair being organized in the name of the Qur’aan, is shaitaaniyat (satanism). Even their recitation of the Qur’aan is motivated by shaitaani takabbur, ujub and riya. The whole mockery is a shaitaani ploy designed by Iblees for deceiving and misleading juhala in the name of the Qur’aan under ‘deeni’ cover.

The bunch of qurraa marraaeen – qaaris who recite for show, vanity and pride – all come within the purview of the Hadith which states that most of the munaafiqs (hypocrites) of the Ummah are its qaaris. They are a shameless species – scum who manipulate the Qur’aan as if it is a football. They minister to evil nafsaani desires, seeking nafsaani gratification by submitting the Kalaam of Allah Azza Wa Jal to the villainy of their lusts. These miscreants mis-manipulating the Qur’aan Majeed should reflect on the severe and fearful warnings and threats of punishment Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) has sounded for qaaris. In one Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“Seek the refuge of Allah from Jubbul Huzn (the Pit of Grief).” The Sahaabah asked: “O Rasulullah! What is Jubbul Huszn?” Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “It is a valley in Jahannam. Daily, Jahannam seeks Allah’s refuge 400 times from (the intensity of the heat) of this Valley.” They asked: “O Rasulullah! Who will enter it?” He said: “It has been prepared for qaaris who display their deeds. And, verily the most abhorrent qaaris to Allah are those who visit the umaraa (the rulers and the wealthy).”
These are not idle and meaningless warnings. The current day scenarios pertaining to mock competitions, mock recitals and merrymaking ‘qur’aan’ functions such as the villainous ‘open air’ shaitaaniyat of the jamaiatul huffaaz azaadville, have been predicted by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). These Ahaadith predict these evil functions and sound the terrible punishment awaiting these munaafiq qaaris who kick and mock the Qur’aan Majeed as if it is a football.

16 Jumaadiyuth Thaani 1440 (22 February 2019)

Q. According to a Mufti it is permissible to give Qur’aan copies to non-Muslims. The conditions for permissibility according to him are:
* The intention should be their guidance.
* There should be reasonable confidence that they will not disrespect the Qur’aan. Nevertheless, it is better to give them a translation without the Arabic text.
* If a copy with the Arabic text is given, they should be asked to purify themselves (with ghusl).
Is this fatwa correct?
A. The fatwa is highly erroneous. The conditions stated by the Mufti are his hallucinations. Da’wah may not be executed with haraam methods. The idea of haraam being a valid method for Da’wah is termed Talbeesul Iblees (deception and trick of shaitaan). Hidaayat (guidance) is from only Allah Ta’ala. Even the Ambiya were commanded to say: “Upon us is to only deliver the Message.” The function of the Ambiya is delivery of the Message of Allah Ta’ala, and this Message has to be delivered in halaal methods. The Ambiya never employed haraam methods to propagate the pure Deen of Allah Ta’ala.
Furthermore, instead of being guided, the likelihood of non-Muslims developing greater aversion for Islam by reading a translation is real and strong. They will not correctly understand the Aayaat pertaining to Jihad and killing non-Muslims. They will not at all understand the Aayaat because of ignorance of the variety of contexts in which the Qur’aanic verses were revealed.
The idea of there being reasonable confidence that the kuffaar will not disrespect the Qur’aan is ludicrous. The Mufti has displayed total lack of understanding of the mood of the kuffaar in this era of hatred for Islam and Muslims. It is indeed stupid to expect the kuffaar to show respect and reverence for the Qur’aan which they believe is ‘false’ and a ‘fabrication’ of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Asking them to take ghusl is laughable.
The Head Mufti has erred grievously with his fatwa and with this fatwa he has confirmed his lack of understanding the environment and the people with whom he deals. It is haraam to give Qur’aan copies to the kuffaar, and it is not permissible to publish translations without the Arabic text.
