Hijab Burnings in Iran and the Liberal Muslim’s Hatred for Islam

Guest Post from Usama Hazari.

On 16th September 2022, in the city of Tehran, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, unfortunately passed away in police custody under suspicious circumstances. She was arrested on 13th September by the Iranian morality police (aka Guidance Patrol) for a dress code violation, where she had received a fatal injury in the process, as per eyewitnesses. Consequently, a series of protests erupted and spread across Iran.

However, the protests were surprisingly not directed against police brutality or medical negligence. Rather the liberal segment of Iranian society seized the tragedy as an opportunity to publicly exhibit their disdain for Islam and commit blasphemy en masse.

For one thing, police brutality is not uncommon across the world. In the United States of America, during the course of the Black Lives Matter protests that ensued after the death of George Floyd, we rarely observed demonstrators publicly desecrating the symbols of Christianity. Nonetheless, when it comes to incidents of oppression and tyranny in the Muslim world, Islam often becomes the primary target of censure and hostility from people.

In a similar vein, during the famed Aurat March (an annual feminist rally held in Pakistan), videos emerged of some women chanting slogans “Allah bhi sunle! AZADI!; Rasool bhi sunle! AZADI” (Allah too hear us, freedom!; Prophet too hear us, freedom!). It is as if they are implying that it is Allah and His Prophet ﷺ that are the source of their oppression—from whom they are seeking freedom.

The rallies that were supposed to highlight the serious matter of “domestic violence” and other similar issues in Pakistan have been hijacked by the liberal Muslim stratum and has subsequently devolved into a series of vitriolic and blasphemous diatribes against Islam.

A friend of mine recently expressed his shocked upon seeing Iranian Muslims burn the hijab as a protest and remarked that even the non-Muslims wouldn’t commit such an act of insulting someone’s faith. I responded to him that no one is more Islamophobic than a liberal Muslim. He loves his Muslim community in a tribalistic fashion, while blaming Islam for its backwardness and misery. For the liberal Muslim, the reason for “our backwardness” lies in the fact that we have not yet “assimilated ourselves” into the modern world.

The liberal Muslim lacks knowledge of history. He is unaware of the centuries of colonialism that has drained the Muslim societies of all its resources. His understanding of Islam is also flawed. The liberal Muslim perceives Islam the same way a polytheist perceives his religion or culture, namely, it can change according to the trends and status quo of different times. The liberal Muslim forgets that Islam is universal and has been sent for all times and all people.

Any misery and humiliation we suffer today is due to our own failure in following our duties as an Ummah. The liberal Muslim fails to understand that his colonised worldview is the biggest hurdle to the Ummah’s progress and attainment of the leadership of the world — as promised by Allah (swt) if we implement Islam in our individual and collective lives.

The primary prerequisite to experiencing a revival of Islam in our lives is that we give Dawah to the liberals in our midst. Perhaps it is easier to convert a non-Muslim to Islam than to convince an arrogant liberal to agree to Islam as a complete way of life.

Arrogance is indeed the greatest obstacle in the way of guidance. The liberal Muslim’s arrogance stems from their self-righteousness and saviour complex, which consequently deter him from following the way of God.

SHE RIPPED HER OWN HIJAAB

The following report appeared in the U.K. tabloid, Muslim News:
MAN ARRESTED FOR RIPPING OFF WOMAN’S HIJAAB
Nadine Osman
A man has been arrested after a woman’s hijab was ripped off while she waited for a London Tube train. A friend of the victim tweeted an image of a man she claimed attacked her on a platform at the Turnpike Lane Piccadilly line station in north London. She claimed the man pulled off her scarf While they waited for a train at 10.45 am on April 1. British Transport Police said a 51-year-old man from Wembley, North West London, was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated common assault on April 2. A spokesperson said: “A 51-yearold man from Wembley was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated common assault. He has been taken to police custody as enquiries continue.”
According to her friend, the victim pressed the emergency button on the underground station platform three times, but no-one came to help her. She also claimed other travellers on the platform who saw the attack unfold did nothing to intervene. Brian Woodhead, Director of Customer Service for London Underground, said: “This sounds like a dreadful incident. We never tolerate hostile and violent behaviour on our network. “All of our customers have the right to travel Without fear of verbal or physical abuse. “We are doing everything we can to support the British Transport Police’s investigation.”
(End of report)
The conclusion that the kaafir had ripped off the woman’s hijaab is erroneous. He had merely demonstrated to the public the evil which the professed Muslim woman had committed, namely, ripping off her own hijaab.
Hijaab is generally misunderstood for the face-cloth/veil/scrap cloth head scarf. According to the Qur’aan and Sunnah, Hijaab is a multifaceted concept and practice. The highest degree of Hijaab commanded by the Qur’aan Majeed is stated in the following Aayat and borne out by many Ahaadith: “And, remain (glued) within your homes, and do not make a display of yourselves such as the exhibition of Jaahiliyyah, and establish Salaat, pay Zakaat, and obey Allah and His Rasool. Verily, Allaah only intends to eliminate filth from You, O People of the Home, and to thoroughly purify you.” (Al-Ahzaab, Aayat 33) Allah Ta’ala maintains the moral purity of females when they remain glued within the confines of their homes as the Qur’aan commands. The lady whose so-called ‘hijaab’ was ‘ripped off’ by the kaafir man, had ripped off her own Hijaab by emerging from the home sanctuary to prowl in the streets, to mingle with fussaaq and fujjaar, and to hang around on bus stations thereby inviting the public act of hijaab-ripping. She had violated every prohibition stated in the aforementioned Qur’aanic Aayat and in the Sunnah. This ripping was a mild punishment of Allah Ta’ala for the major sin of ripping off her own hijaab. Allah Ta’ala says in the Qur’aan Majeed:
“Whatever misfortune befalls you is the consequence of what your hands have earned, and He forgives much (of your sins).”
All so-called Islamophobia acts of sacrilege are in fact mild forms of Allah’s Athaab for the fisq, fujoor and even kufr of Muslim men and women.

THE DILEMMA OF AN APA

An Apa (a female teacher in a madrasah), cast into a moral and mental dilemma by the haraam immoral shenanigans of the so-called ‘ulama’ whose disregard for Hijaab and haraam interaction with the Apas spawn fisq, fujoor and even zina in the madrasah setting, laments:
“I don’t have trust in ulama. I have taught at an Islamic school and was taken advantage of physically by the moulanas and huffaaz at the school. When I decided to tell my mom and brother, I also decided to leave the school as money was not more important than my izzat (Imaani honour). My family couldn’t understand why I’m taking such drastic steps. They say that I have to just draw boundaries and move on.
I also left the madrassah which I myself had initiated. I stopped teaching as the aalim who came to help out and take charge of the syllabus, etc. made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Although he didn’t do anything physically to me, nevertheless I didn’t feel comfortable with him around me. My family was and still is extremely angry with me for leaving as they feel that I am paranoid and want to isolate myself from the world.
I don’t want to be in such a situation anymore as I feel that it is a place where one can loose one’s honour and morality. But as long as you are within the confines of the good books of the ulama, then you are accepted.
I’m sorry If I offend people with my strong point of view but I do not trust these ulama, my surroundings, or my family. I feel trapped and I am stuck. They have no problem with the things that I see wrong and morally damaging. I feel that like I constantly have to give up pieces of myself, explain myself and lose what I feel is right to be part of this community, my family and surroundings.
Please advise me what to do in this dilemma.” (End of the Apa’s lament)
COMMENT
The haraam abuse to which the Apa has been subjected by the evil molvis posing as ‘ulama’, is the tip of the iceberg of the shenanigans which these holy joe molvis perpetrate in an environment which is supposed to be a bastion of piety. The entire system at these so-called ‘islamic’ schools is haraam. The Qur’aan is abused, the Deen is abused, the Apas are abused, and a miserable mockery of the Deen is enacted by the molvis and the shaitaani organizations such as the NNB jamiat of Fordsburg which run these evil schools. And, all of the immoral dirt camouflaged with burqas, beards and kurtahs, is perpetrated in the name of Islam.
Their hearts are bereft of the slightest khauf for Allah Ta’ala. They conduct themselves as if they are atheists. Only atheists have no perception of Allah’s Presence and the presence of the Recording Malaaikah under whose watchful observation every person is 24 hours of every day of his life until the moment of the extraction of the Rooh by Malakul Maut.
Madrasah teachers and supervisors are supposed to be paragons of Islamic Morality and virtue, but these hoodlums who are the supervisors of the Apas and the schools are actually Satanists. Describing them, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that they are “wolves in sheep’s skin and devils in human form”.
Apas should not conceal the evil shenanigans of these molvis. Imaani honour is a priceless treasure which these villains are out to rob. Expose the villains and resign from these evil schools. Allah Ta’ala is the Raaziq. Rizq is predetermined and sealed. The Mashaaikh say: “Upon us is the obligation to worship Allah as He has commanded, and upon Him is the obligation of feeding us as He has promised.”
May Allah Ta’ala save the ignorant community from the vile depradations of these moral marauders. All their institutions – their devilish radios, their jamiats and their schools – are Satanist institutions for nafsaani gratification. All of their activities come within the scope of the Hadith in which a Sign of Qiyaamah is said to be:
“The dunya will be pursued with the amal of the Aakhirat and Knowledge will be pursued for reasons other than the Deen.”
