‘UMRAH’ HOLIDAYS

“It is with sadness we observe that Ulama particularly our leaders, be it in Tabligh, the Khanqas, our Imaams in our masaajid, in learning and teaching, etc. going ever so frequently for Umrah holidays, when they (The Saudi’s):

Brazenly closed the masjids and introduced new ways of Salaah, i.e. social distancing etc.

Promoted and openly called to send girls for Umrah and Haj without a Mahram, to universities etc. So to say put our girls in the lion’s mouth in the environment of LGBT, sex and rave culture and all that goes with it.

Promote blatant taking of videos & photos (In the Haramain).

The amount of photography taking place in Musjid Nabawi, Musjidul Haraam and at the Ka’bah is absolutely ludicrous and totally out of control.

Openly coming on TV.

Setting up cinemas in Madinah Munawwarah.

A lot of women are saying they were groped and sexually assaulted by men during Hajj and Tawaaf. Their bottoms and breasts were grabbed and so on. I’ve heard it’s been done by Saudi guards as well. This has really disturbed me a lot.

In Mina and even in Arafaat, western-type urinals have been installed. Males in ihraam stand and urinate most lewdly with part of their aurah exposed. They conduct themselves just like the kuffaar who urinate like animals in the public. Even ladies pass by and view these shameless urinating proceedings.

Are we happy with the open public sins of these Saudi’s who have no link with Haq and we fully endorse what they are doing by going over and over again.

Notwithstanding the steep increase in airfares and hotel accommodation, some people have made such trips an annual ritual. The elite suburbs are very eager with talks of who made how many umrah’s.

It is really a shame! What will we tell Allah Ta’ala on the Day of Qiyaamat?

The Majlis has in a number of articles highlighted the evils attached to the mock ‘umrah’ holidays which are devoid of Deeni substance. These holidays which are undertaken in the name of ‘umrah’ are nafsaani and shaitaani inspirations and ploys. It appears as if these satanic holiday-makers have lost their Imaan.

From the day they leave their homes until the day they return, they indulge in sin and transgression at every step – at the airports, in the planes, in the buses, in the hotels, in the malls, and just everywhere they go it is compounded sinning. And all of this evil is perpetrated in the name of the Deen while they return from the Haramain loaded with sin.

While Muslims squander satanically millions and millions of dollars in the deception of their mock umrah and mock I’tikaaf in Musjidul Aqsa, etc., they remain oblivious of the sad and lamentable plight of the millions of suffering Muslims who are languishing in grinding poverty, squalor and ignorance. There is no care and no Imaani feeling left in their hearts for the suffering segments of the Ummah. But Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said:

“The Muslimoon (the Ummah of Muslims) are like one man. If the eye pains, the entire body is affected. If the head pains, the entire body is affected.”

The absence of this emotional brotherly pain is the sure sign of the elimination of Imaan. Furthermore, this type of haraam holiday mock ‘umrah and hajj’ has been predicted by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). It is among the Signs of Qiyaamah. The objectives of the dunya and nafs are being pursued in the name of the Deen and with the a’maal of the Deen.
