GIFT OF THE GIVERS IS NOT A MUSLIM ENTITY

IT IS HARAAM TO CONTRIBUTE ZAKAAT, LILLAH AND EVEN INTEREST FUNDS TO THIS MURTAD ENTITY

Question

In its Easter message, Gift of the Givers, promoting interfaith, says:

“This Easter billions of adherents of diverse religions are engaged in reflection, introspection, prayer and practice, which in essence serves as a means of purification, unity, harmony and social cohesion.

Gift of the Givers extends its good wishes to the disciples of Christianity (Easter), Judaism (Passover), Hinduism (Temple activities on Good Friday). Islam (Ramadhan), and to all humanity.”

What is the Shariah status of this interfaith message and of this organization?

Answer

The Qur’aan Majeed stating the status of this entity masquerading as a Muslim body, states:

“That Day (Qiyaamah, when) Allah will resurrect them, they will take oaths for Him just as they are taking oaths for you (Mu’mineen) thinking (hallucinating) that they are on something (true and solid). Behold! They are Liars.” (Al-Mujaadalah, Aayat 18)

“Shaitaan has overwhelmed them, hence they forgot the Thikr of Allah. They are the gang of shaitaan. Behold! They are the losers.” (Al-Mujaadalah, Aayat 19)

“Verily, those who oppose Allah and His Rasool, they are (dwelling) in utter disgrace.” (Al-Mujaadalah, Aayat 20)

“You will not find people who believe in Allah and the Last Day befriending those who oppose Allah and His Rasool even though they are their fathers, or their sons or their brothers or their families. It is in the hearts of these people (the staunch Mu’mineen) that Allah has ingrained Imaan and whom He aids with His mercy.” (Al-Mujaadalah, Aayat 22)

Muslims are not in need of the ‘good wishes’ of those who are in cahoots with Shaitaan. Kufr and Shikr are the worst of all evils plotted by Shaitaan. Therefore all those billions who plod the path of kufr and shirk – Christians, Jews, Hindus, and every other hue of Kuffaar – are all Hizbush Shaitaan (The Gang of Iblees).

Gift of the Givers is promoting Hizbush Shaitaan, hence it is an Agent of Iblees. All religions besides Islam are baatil and schemes of Shaitaan. The Qur’aan vehemently denounces and rejects all religions besides Islam. Only Islam is the TRUTH. Only Islam is accepted by Allah Azza Wa Jal.

Interfaith is nothing new. The pioneers of the interfaith movement were the Mushrikeen of Makkah. They had presented a compromise ‘solution’ for social cohesion and harmony. Their compromise package consisted of the following factors:

We (the Mushrikeen) shall worship your God (i.e. Allah Ta’ala) for one year.
You (Muslims) should worship our idols for one year. This will be the rotation of worship of the interfaith solution.
Refrain from criticizing our idols.

Vigorously rejecting this scheme of Iblees, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “If you place the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand, I shall not desist from proclaiming Tauheed, and (I shall continue doing so) until Allah Ta’ala grants victory (for this Deen).”

Whatever is preached and prayed in the churches, temples and synagogues is all baatil which Islam rejects. Never is it ever permissible for Muslims to compromise even one iota of the Stance on Tauheed and Islam.

Gift of the Givers is a Murtad entity. It is haraam for Muslims to have any association with this entity. It is haraam to contribute any funds of whatever kind to this haraam entity.

Unity with kufr and baatil is worse than the worst of sins. Never can there be unity between Islam and kufr. These are two extreme mutually repellent opposites. But murtaddeen and munaafiqeen are at home in all temples of kufr and shirk. And that is where the Gift of the Givers belong.
