Sheikh Abdul Aziz at Tarefe has said:
The greatest reason for the failure [loss of courage] and defeat of the ummah is: “disputing in the subsidiary issues [of deen] in a time when there is an attack on the foundations of Islām”
Allah says: “And do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.”
Sheikh Abdul Aziz at Tarefe is a giant of our times. Known for his knowledge of hadith and fiqh, Sheikh Tarefe was arrested by Saudi authorities in 2016 for teaching a holistic perception of Islam that not only contradicts, but challenges global capitalism, in whose tides Saudi Arabia is drowning right now.
He rightly pointed out, that disputing in the subsidiary issues of the Deen when there is an attack on the foundations of Islam is the greatest reason for our failure as an Ummah. He was talking about global capitalism which is bringing with itself the fitnahs of liberalism, feminism, secularism, and LGBTQ.
In our times, dajjalic propaganda is being pushed into the masses through mainstream mass media, entertainment industry, and school curriculum.
Now even Saudi Arabia’s school curriculum is designed and monitored by a Zionist corporation called IMPACT-se (Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education).
If this is the situation in Saudi Arabia, we can’t even begin to imagine what’s happening in other Muslim countries, and in countries where Muslims live as a minority. These school curricula are designed to brainwash the masses and bring them in line with the agenda of the New World Order.
(Some fools mocked Dr. Israr Ahmed and called him a conspiracy theorist when he talked about the ‘New World Order’ decades ago, but many world leaders are now openly talking about it.)
The schools are just the first step. After schooling, enter mass media, cartoons, television shows, movies and music, specifically designed to promote the propaganda of liberalism to mentally colonize Muslims.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a clip that has been surfacing on social media since the anti-Hijab protests started in Iran, said:
“Iran has 250,000 satellite dishes, it has internet use, I once said to the heads of the CIA when I was prime minister, ‘you want to advance regime change in Iran, you don’t have to go through the CIA cloak and dagger stuff [i.e., military invasion like in Iraq, assassinations of leaders like that of King Faisal or Zia ul Haq, stage a coup like in Libya, etc.]. What you want to do is take very large, very strong transponders and just beam Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 201, and all of that [lewd American TV shows and movies] into Tehran, and into Iran, they watch it, the young kids watch it, they would want the same nice clothes and the same houses, swimming pools and so on.”
As this Zionist recognizes, TV and other media are tools of brainwashing and mental colonization. The lie that absolute freedom and equality leads to happiness and prosperity is sold to Muslims, many of whom try to replicate this absolute freedom and equality in their families and in their societies. And when they see conservative Islamic culture and norms opposing this liberal system, they become angry and rebel against it.
Little do the naïve consumers of American entertainment know that the society that they are so captivated by has one of the highest suicide rates in the world (14 persons per 100,000 commit suicide in US), highest depression rates in the world (17% depression rate in teens and young adults according to usnews.com), and has a broken family system (50% of all marriages in the US end up in divorce). And that is only the tip of the dysfunctional iceberg.
Anyone can paint a positive, glorified image of any society using technology and cheap propaganda techniques.
Intra-Sunni debates about the finer points of Islamic belief and practice have happened from the beginning of the caliphate of Sayyidna Abu Bakr (r), and they will continue until the Day of Judgement. This is not the problem. The problem is if we allow these academic debates to prevent us from cooperating against the larger enemies and problems we face, problems that threaten the very future of the Ummah and the preservation of Islam.
We should remember the confederation of Salahuddin Al Ayyubi, which included people from all mainstream Sunni sects and schools of thought.
In such a critical time, let’s put due focus on our common enemy (i.e., al–Dajjal).
