CHRISTIANITY IS FOUNDED UPON MISINTERPRETATION OF THE “NEW COVENANT” PROMISED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
The biblical Hebrew word most often translated as “covenant” is “bə·rîṯ” [Hebrew: בְּרִ֥ית]. The word appears about 280 times in the Old Testament.
There are many covenants in the Old Testament. Covenant means solemn agreement or bond usually between two parties. In the Old Testament, God promised to make a “New Covenant” (new agreement) with none other than the JEWS alone. So, all non Jews are excluded from the New Covenant promised in the Old Testament.
What this New Covenant is all about?
One should first note that all God’s righteous laws in the Old Testament are ETERNAL/ EVERLASTING (Psalms 119:160 etc). Psalm111:7–8 and Isaiah 40:8 state that God’s Word doesn’t change.
